All references in this Policy to “Client”, “User”, “you” and “your” refer to the individual(s) who accepted or proposes to accept products or services by Germinate Learning Pte Ltd, including the use of the https://germinate.co website (“Site”).

Germinate is committed to respect your privacy and we aim to maintain a high level of trust with all clients and prospective clients by adhering to the principles of applicable data protection and privacy laws in Singapore.  Germinate treats your online privacy with utmost care and respect. Our Privacy Policy statement here elaborates on how we collect your personal information and the purposes for such collection, the ways we use your information and how we protect it.

Germinate may collect personal and non-personal identification information from Clients in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when a Client visits our Site, registers on the Site, fills out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available both on our Site and places of business.

Such information is used solely for transactional purposes and administrative use, including understanding our student profile and in collating class timings/scheduling or enabling us to perform our obligations to you, and providing you with information and services that you request from us or information and services offered by us which we think you may be interested in and all other purposes to which you may agree with us from time to time. 

b.    Information and data generated in the course of any continual relationship with Germinate, for example, instructions given by you to arrange class registrations, transfers, make-up classes, withdrawals, and other information and records you choose to provide by various modes of communication including mail, telephone, SMS, fax, email, Internet and market research;

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal information may include information from cookies, other technologies deployed for the analysis or website usage or other information technology applications used by our Site, your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address when you visit our website that helps provide us details for the necessary support and/or resolution of any technical or website experience issues our users may encounter.

Web Browser Cookies

Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance user experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. Germinate Training & Consultancy may collect and use clients’ personal information for the following purposes:

a.    To provide, operate and administer Germinate products and services, or to process applications for Germinate products and services, business or financial transactions, and to maintain service quality levels and train staff;

b.    To facilitate operational processes including but not limited to student profile assessments, class and student management, payment administration and statistical analysis;

c.    To maintain accurate client information and enable customised experiences that meet your preferences and needs;

d.    To maintain Germinate’s relationship with you, which may include providing information on Germinate’s products and services, where specifically consented to or where permissible under applicable laws and regulations;

e.    For marketing and communication;

f.    To facilitate product development and service refinements via customer feedback, data analysis and market research;

g.    To perform internal management, to operate management information systems, to carry out and enable internal and external audits;

h.    To enforce or defend the rights of Germinate, its employees, officers and directors;

i.    For safety, legal and regulatory compliance; and

j.    Purposes relating directly thereto.

We may disclose your personal information in the following situations:

  2. If we are enforcing our rights under any contracts or agreements; or

Our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is hosted and managed by MailChimp.

Your data is stored through MailChimp’s data storage, databases and the general MailChimp application. MailChimp stores your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
